Claudia Villani is a researcher in Contemporary History and teaches Contemporary History and History Didactics at the University of Bari. She is presently working on the global cultural history of Europeanism and internationalism, on historical memories, on the Italian and global North/South divide; on Public History and Digital Humanities; on culturally responsive teaching and transformative teaching and learning. In the last years, she has organized and coordinated conferences on Gramsci’s transformative teaching and “creative school”; Digital practices and teaching Humanities; Collective Memories and New Digital Media in the Global Public Sphere; Public history, history education and history teaching in the globital age of memory.
